Design Envy: Lulu Powers home

Just fell in love with the home of Lulu Powers featured in the December 2010 Lonny issue (online magazines another recent love). What I adore about this home is the mix of masculine to feminine. If I could put label on these rooms it would be historic~charm. I like that mix of tartan plaids, leathers, light pillows and the vase filled with bright pink flowers. In the bedroom, there is a lovely sail boat art piece hung above the crisp white linens with patterned trim & monogrammed pillows which adds a soft touch. If I were to wake up in a home like this, I would enjoy breakfast in bed and then lounge on this sofa and read one of my books or look at one of the many photography books on the book shelf. I would love a big book shelf like that... love. love. love.
